These extensions are applied by sandwiching small sections of natural hair between two strips of adhesive tape, which are then pressed together to securely attach the extensions. Tape-in extensions are lightweight, comfortable, and can be worn for several weeks before needing to be re-adjusted or reapplied. They are relatively quick to install, cause minimal damage to natural hair, and offer a seamless, natural-looking result. Tape-ins are also incredibly versatile, as they can be styled, washed, and colored just like natural hair.

What are Fusion Hair Extensions?
Fusion or bonded hair extensions are
the longest lasting of the extension techniques. This method can last up to
3 to 5 months depending on care. No bulkiness, hair stress or discomfort. I truly believe that strand by strand is
by far the best method. Fusion hair extensions are the most natural looking, longest lasting extension that will not damage the hair if done correctly by a trained hair extension specialist.
This is the process by which a group
of your natural hair strands and one individual Fusion hair strand is fused together with an adhesive keratin bond. These small bonds are attached strand by strand, row by row starting at the base
of the head and working up the back and sides of the head. Once finished, the bonds lie completely flat against the head and are covered by the above layers of hair; resulting in fuller and longer hair. After all the extensions have been installed, they will then be layered, blended and styles to the clients desired look. For instant boost of confidence.
What are Tape-In Hair Extension?
They are thin, nearly invisible hair extensions that move with your hair
and appear natural. No one will be able to feel the tape-in extensions even
if they touch your hair! These flat hair extensions are undetectable, and discreet.
They are also one of the most cost effective semi permanent hair extension
methods on the market.
Tape in extensions are, lightweight tape wefts that are “sandwiched” together
in between your own hair. They can last up to 4-6 weeks if cared for correctly,
and are reusable up to three to four applications. Tape-in extensions can be worn
up or down, and are perfect for adding length, color effects, and volume.
How are they removed?
It is highly recommended to get your
hair extension removed by a specialist.
To remove Fusion extensions the bond is coated with a solution, and crushed
with pliers, the bond then breaks down to a powder residue and is then combed out. Before reapplying your hair is prepped and a new set is put in.
To remove Tape-In extensions the weft
is coated with a solution, once the tape adhesive starts to loosen the extension separate and the excess residue is combed out. The extensions are then cleaned
and new adhesive is applied. Before reapplying your extensions your own
hair is cleaned and prepped.
